While the majority of our resources are dedicated to adult wellness, we also provide a number of activities and programs developed specifically for children.
Youth Fitness – Our Youth Fitness program is an ongoing structured program developed specifically for children ages 3-5. Activities vary widely, but include tumbling, balance, creative movement, obstacle courses, and more. The program includes some crafts as well, but is primarily a physical program. Youth Fitness will provide your children with a fun and functional foundation in physical fitness.
Stay-n-Play – The Stay-n-Play area provides members and guests with safe care for children (ages 3 months through 12 years) while their parents are in the facility. Stay-n-Play reservations are available for a nominal fee. All Stay-n-Play staff are infant CPR certified. The Stay-n-Play staff is trained to interact with the children at all times and uses games, books, music, and toys to get children involved in fun activities. Since space and staff are limited, reservations are strongly advised. Reservations can be made at the front desk. For detailed policies, procedures, and payment information, just ask a staff member for the Stay-n-Play brochure.
Parents’ Night Out - On the last Saturday of most months, we provide an opportunity for parents to spend a night out on the town. From 5-9 pm, you can leave the kids with us and our staff will provide reliable supervision and lots of fun activities and snacks. This service is available for a small fee. Contact the front desk for this month’s schedule, for information on fees, or to reserve your spot.
Safe Sitter®– Safe Sitter® teaches adolescent babysitters how to handle crises, how to keep their charges secure, and how to nurture and guide a young child. The program teaches how to handle specific ages, injury prevention techniques, care of the choking child, preventing problem behavior, and the business of babysitting. In short, Safe Sitter® babysitters help children stay safe and sound while their parents are away. In the process, these 11-to 13-year-olds emerge as more confident, responsible and compassionate teens and adults. Our instructors thrive on making a difference in the lives of these adolescents and the children in their care. This program is typically offered several times each year.
Swim Lessons - We offer year-round swim lessons for children of all ages and abilities both in group and private settings. Group sessions typically run for four weeks at a time, with one week between sessions. Registration for the next session takes place during the off week. Group lessons are available in levels I-V; Water Exploration (I), Primary Skills (II), Stroke Readiness (III), Stroke Development (IV), and Stroke Refinement (V). Private lessons are tailored to each specific student. Please contact the front desk for information on the upcoming schedule, registration, or fees.
